Use this blend to compliment ostrich, bear, elk, caribou, venison, duck, goose, pheasant, beef, pork, and chicken.

Savory Mushroom Blend is a rich and hearty whole-grain blend that compliments wild game, beef, and poultry dishes. Use anywhere you would normally offer straight wild rice or brown rice.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

  • 2 pounds of rice
  • 12 cups of water
  • ¼ cup of cooking oil or butter
  • 5 ounces of Chieftain Seasoning (optional)

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 40-50 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes; fluff with a fork before serving.

One cup dry yields 4 – 4 1/4 cups cooked.
