Cajun Blackened Seasoning combines the traditional flavors of chopped onion, granulated garlic, oregano, paprika, thyme, sea salt, sugar, canola oil, and ground black pepper. Inspired by the cuisine of the Bayou this blend of spices enhances the flavor of fish and seafood.
Ingredient Statement:
Spices (Oregano, Thyme, Ground Black Pepper), Paprika, Salt, Chopped Onion, Garlic, Sugar, Canola Oil.
Use Cajun Blackened Seasoning to blacken fish or seafood. Simply oil a sheet pan, cover with cajun blackened seasoning, bake until fish is done, then flip and seasoning will coat the top as well. May look red or black depending on the desired color and cooking time. Cajun Seasoning may also be used as a rub for meat and poultry as well.
Recommended Preparation Instructions:
Just add as instructed. To blacken catfish simply oil sheet pan, cover with cajun blackened seasoning, bake until catfish is done. Simply flip the catfish over when done and seasoning will coat the top as well. May look red or black depending on the desired color and cooking time.
