Porcini Orzo is a deliciously flavored pasta that works well in cold and warm salads, as bedding, and also in cream soups and pilaf. Oval shaped and about 1/3 inches long, our Porcini Orzo can stand alone on flavor or easily compliments other grains and vegetables. Tossed with herbs and butter or olive oil, Porcini Orzo offers a contrast to seafood and fish entrees. Tender yet firm, this pasta offers a chewy texture that will delight your palate!

Ingredients:

Enriched Durum Semolina Flour (Milled Wheat, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Wheat Protein Isolate, Dried Mushroom Powder, Porcini Paste (Mushroom Juice Concentrate, Mushroom Essential Oils), Salt, Dried Egg White, Granulated Onion, Granulated Garlic. (Contains Wheat, Egg, Gluten)

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

Add 1 cup of Orzo to 2 cups of rapidly boiling water or stock. Return to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until tender, yet still al dente. Add uncooked Orzo to soups during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

One cup dry yields 3 cups cooked.
