Temporarily Unavailable...Special Mushroom Blend is a savory yet mild combination of different mushrooms. Many chefs prefer the flavor and easy prep involved in using dried mushrooms. For many dishes dried mushrooms actually enhance the aromatic flavor of the dish. Mushrooms have been an important and very popular cooking ingredient throughout Europe and the Orient for many centuries and have acquired notability here in the United States in recent years as well. Chef prefer them as an economical choice that is more readily available than fresh and chefs use smaller amounts of the dried as their flavor is condensed.

Ingredient Statement:

Mushrooms: Shiitake, Chanterelle, Morel, Porcini, Oyster, Bolete.

Contains Naturally Occurring Sulfites.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

To reconstitute, place desired amount into a bowl covered with hot tap water and let soak for 15-20 minutes.  Rinse and add directly to recipe that will cook for at least 25 minutes.

One ounce dry reconstitutes to 3-4 ounces.
