Tomato Powder is made from ground, dried tomatoes. This is a fine, dull red powder that is 60 mesh in size. Tomato Powder has a mild tomato flavor.

Spray Dried Tomato Powder, less than 1% Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking agent).

Tomato Powder is wonderful for adding color and flavor to fresh pasta, noodle, and bread doughs. It can also be used in yeast bread, quick bread, or muffins. Add a little to vegetable soup or stews for a richer stock with a hint of tomato flavor.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

Mix Tomato Powder into flour before adding wet ingredients, about ½ ounce for every pound of flour.
