CINNAMON SPICED PUNCH
  • 1 bottle of dry red wine
  • 1 orange peel, thinly pared
  • 5 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 crushed cardamom pods
  • 3 crushed coriander seeds
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins

Put all of the ingredients, except golden raisins, into a large bowl, and leave for about 8 hours.  Strain and add the raisins.  Heat the punch until it begins to shake, but do not allow to boil.  Serve warm.  This is a great winter party drink.
