Ingredient Statement:
Basmati Rice.
Rinse Well. Add 1 cup of rice to 1-3/4 cups salted boiling water. Return to boil for 2 minutes, then simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork. 1 cup dry yields 3 cups cooked.
Recommended Preparation Instructions:
Place 1 cup of rice and 1½ cups of water in a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Season as desired and fluff with a fork before serving.
One cup dry yields 2½ - 3 cups cooked.
